    I am looking to do an EJ swap in my 88 gl wagon soon… and I'm wondering if I wanted to pay someone to do all the required wiring and to do a clean, no messes job. How much would someone be willing to do it for? I live in tacoma and I believe I have all the tools needed for the work. Thanks, austin

    I want to do an EJ swap on my GL. i am looking for a cheap engine. i found this 2.2 for sale but it doesn't run. prob a stupid question, but can anybody tell me what the worst case senario might be, or how much it would be for a complete rebuild.     All together, with everything required for a EA to EJ swap. If you dont mind me asking, what did most of you spend on everything you needed for an 2.2 swap? Or maybe tell me what i'd be spending. i have a 88 GL wagon, wanting a EJ22. thanks

    I have a 1988 turbo GL-10 Wagon converted to a SPFI GL wagon. Im wondering if my car being fuel injected makes doing a EJ22 swap easier than doing an EJ22 swap on a carbed GL?

    I am looking to put an aftermarket steering wheel on my 88 subaru GL-10. I tried looking for a MOMO 7303 hub adapter, but they are no where to be found. So i found this thread that says a guy found an adapter from australia. The guy with the thread has a loyale, and im not for sure, but i think the loyale and the GL have different splines. yes?     I am looking for a steering hub adapter for my 88 gl-10 wagon. i tried looking for a MOMO 7303, but they are no where to be found. i came across this thread about a guy with a loyale that put an aus. adapter on. Does the L series mean GL's and DL's? Does L series or SportsWagon mean my 88 GL wagon?     1986 GL Wagon with 321,000 miles carbed stock recent SPFI engine with 95k converted to weber but wish it was SPFI

    im new to the the USMB but have had subaru's for as long as i can remember. im just getting done with a weber conversion and it would be sweet to come by to work on my subi. im waiting until my 88 camaro sells so i can put the money into my subaru. so i was wondering if i can come hang some time. im in tacoma, not too far. let me know

    also, i have a SPFI disty, which has no vacuum lines. can i switch the carbureted dis the the SPFI? if no can you explain why?

    hey, im installing a Ea82 Weber Carb and wondering if you can answer some questions.? so i did almost everything that this sight said to, like redrilling to 8mm on the intake, got all the extra stuff to hook vacuum lines up and such... i also got some JB weld to do the hole on the intake where the adapter is supposed to go. so i am wondering what is the best way to JB weld it and where to JB weld the hose coming up to the instake? any help would be great. thanks. - subi_dude

    i took my EA82 engine and gave it a new tune up, but when i try starting it after i installed everything it misfired and wont idle. now im getting a Weber carb and need some help on what to do to install. please let me know if i can ask some questions as i work on it. also if you know of any web sites i can find a whole Weber kit? subi_dude@yahoo.com thanks
