  1. I hope this isn't a repost, but I came across some polish built subaru buggies that I thought was interesting. http://www.monstertruck.pl/
  2. Those reasons, and a free 86 soob is what has me wanting to build something similar. It's my theory that something like that should be able to go where the rhinos and other 2-seaters go, for a lot cheaper.
  3. That is awesome, exactly what I want to build, maybe easier to get in and out of. Any more pics of it? It must weigh next to nothing.

I know I asked this before, but I would really love some more pics. I need a new descktop pic.

I am looking to do the same thing with a subaru. Do you have any more pics, maybe a build log somewhere? Thanks for the new desktop.

Just thought of another thing to add. One of my other hobbies is RC(radio control) and there is a product called corrosion-x that buddies of mine claim is good for waterproofing electronics. They claim they can completely submerge electric RC with the components coated in it. I also like liquid e-tape/plastidip for rc electronics but you would need a lot for an ecu I would imagine.

I'm sure there will be better suggestions, but I'm always amazed at how well hot glue does at sealing electronics. If the holes aren't too oversized that it.
  8. I don't suppose anyone ever found anymore video/pics/info on this thing? I found it on youtube this morning and have been searching ever since. A small UTV built from a subaru is my goal. At least welding the rear diff is a must though.
  9. Thanks, there's so much info that this will likely be the only posting I'll do.
  10. Hey guys, this site is great, full of tech and useful info. I'm not new to mechanic work or fabricating. I built solid axle swaps on both an S10 and a Ranger. I don't own a subaru yet but am looking for a cheap 80's 4wd. My plan is to make a poor mans rhino, similar to some of the buggies I've seen in the offroad section on here and on youtube. After weighing prices and capability, a subaru buggy would be more powerful, mor capable, cheaper, and pretty unique. I have learned a lot from this site already but I look forward to learning even more.
