  1. [ratty2austin] wonder how much it cost them...... for the jeeps in the first place... and.. tires of that size, lift kits, and suspension upgrades? probably way more than I would spend when i can have more fun for le$$ and dont forget- making it easy takes the fun out of offroading! (in my opinion) [/ratty2austin]
  2. Wild Wild West, by Escape Club
  3. You could weld the rear diff.. you will just have to change your driving habits to accomodate for wide turns
  4. (Austin using Freddie's computer) cool! sounds like one of these weekends we should have a snorkel install day! (and skid plate)
  5. Hello, all!! I am glad to announce that today (July 24th) is Austin's (ratty2austin) birthday!! We may be going to Mall of America or bowling or...other ideas are welcome! We would be glad to have some guests or to meet up with people somewhere! If you are free, do not hesitate to call or email! Talk to you all later!! ~Freddie
  6. Thanks Sparky :-p He will really need looking after. We all know what kind of a guy Austin is teehee Hope all of you have tons of fun! I sincerely hope that I can make it next year!! (I am planning on it!! ) Party on! ~Freddie
  7. Austin and the gang just entered Washington! They are going through Spokane as of 8 30 Central Time. It's the Home Stretch!!! :-p Just so you all know! ~Freddie
  8. As of 7 30 mountain time Austin and James are in Glendive, Montana. They seem to be going smoothly with the brat having minimal coolant loss. They torqued the head bolts and that seemed to slow the leak down. They are now able to drive far on one fill up of coolant. They will probably be going through Bozeman, MT at least 6 hours from now. So...mid-afternoonish. So if you are looking to caravan or ride along give Austin a call! (or let me know and i can pass along the message ) ~Freddie (And I am very much looking forward to the show next year! believe it or not, I would very very much like to meet all of you people! )
  9. UPDATE!! it turns out that the radiator is not the problem...it seems that there is a pinhole leak in the intake manifold capillary hose behind the alternator...so they are all going to need to stop and fix it sometime very soon...so anyone with the means to fix the problem, message me and i will pass it on to Austin. ~Freddie
  10. Unfortunately I am unable to go to the show... however, there is always next year, right?! And, to whom it concerns- Austin should be arriving in the Bozeman area sometime tonight or tomorrow...so give him a call if you are looking to caravan/ride with him. Also, the brat he is traveling with is having some issues...If anyone has a spare radiator laying around that could be used/purchased, feel free to let me know or you can call Austin, but he may not be in cell phone range. Thanks! ~Freddie
  11. Hello to all!! (from Austin and me) Austin is all moved into his apartment and such. It (OF COURSE ) wonderful to have him here!! Although...he is having some difficulty finding "his people" as he calls all of you So give him a call!!! As fo yet, he does not have any internet access..so phone calls are the best way to go. Give him a call! Afterall, he is an absolutely wonderful person. No doubt about it. I'm sure a good number of you can vouch for that one He wants to see all of you that he knows and he wants to meet all of you that he has not met! (As would I )His cell number is 206 856 7797. If you dont want to call (you should, though!), feel free to email me (i can easily check my email) at shmirkyperson@yahoo.com. Austin's email is ratty2austin@yahoo.com (you can try emailing him, too, if you'd like, but he may not be able to check his email for a while ) Hope to see (or hear from) you all soon! Thank you so much!! ~Freddie and Austin
  12. well, Austin is having fun here in the sub zero temps of MN. are we going to meet up at the planned location and time still? who all will be there? Austin and I are planning on it, plus another "jeep guy" (my dad) and some of his friends who got interested in the idea of getting their cars dirty
  13. yeah, i live in excelsior, and austin will be staying with me. would it be convenient for you to meet up with us somewhere before hand?...are you close to the excelsior area? if so..or if you know the area a little...we could meet at the coffee shop i mentioned previously...it is on county road 19 (if that means anything to you)...but i ..er we:-p (austin and i)...are open to other suggestions if it is something you are interested in!
  14. Saturday the 1st works for me! (and Austin!) Although... I am unsure where this pizza place is...so if that is to be our meeting place, it would be very nice if someone could post directions of some sort! or if it is up to some improvisation..we could meet at "Water into Coffee," which is a coffee shop ( :-p ) in the Excelsior/Tonka Bay area that could also work...just a suggestion!
