    3:4WD Emblem

4:One Center cap for the Spoked Rim

5:And If I find another Center Cap/not to badly damaged Plastic thingy behind the inner door handle, I will throw them in all together. All for $85. Thanks Also, here is my Paypal ID: m3speed09@yahoo.com

  5. Let me check on the two Center caps and the Plastic things behind the inside door handle. I know those Plastic things crack and fade away over time. What condition is acceptable to you on those Plastic things???? Do you perfer it to be Clean ( no cracks, chips, faded paint)??? or you need it no matter the Condition? Thanks

  6. Hello, $80 for both parts and shipping total. I maybe able to get the 4WD emblem from the grill If I can get the Hood Unstuck. $80 for everything. Thanks

  7. Hi, That 1979 Brat I was talking about does have both the Left and Right Tail Lights!! Lens and fully Assembled. I can send you some Pictures,Via E-Mail, I don't know how to post pictures on this damn message board!! Also, you needed the bumper and the Front parts for the Twin light conversion. I believe that Brat was complete also but, Shipping to Australia from U.S.A is super Expensive isn't it???? If you could do some research with UPS or FED-EX on postage and weight then would it worth it to you????

Especially with the Bumper and Front end Parts would be pretty Heavy and Odd sized in shape (long parts, heavy, bulky etc...) if you get know what I mean. Let me Know I would like to help a fellow Brat enthusist, :D

  8. Thanks for all your help everyone. We'll give it try, cross fingers, and get this S.O.B. done :-p!!!!!!!!!
  9. IIRC???? That sounds like a workable solution, I just wasn't sure if that could be possible because of parts/engine difference from GEN.1 to GEN.2 Subie. Theres one 83 GL 4x4 wagon at a local Junkyard here, I could pull it off and try it before buying it new/rebuilt from the Parts Store. All those pins and shims holding the caliper intact is a Nightmare since we never delt with anything older than 85' Thanks a bunch.
  10. Hello, I posted this in the other Forum So bare with me. My friend has a old Subaru 79' DL Front Wheel Drive Automatic and the both of us cannot figure out HOW to Compress the damn Piston on the Front Caliper to make enough room to install new Brake Pads. We both use to own a 85-88 Sub's GL HatchBack and It's simple,Press and turn to Compress the Piston down enough to put new Pads in. I'm no stranger to Subaru's but this the very first time that both of us Tinkered with a Gen.1 Subaru. Sorry there's no Pic. I'll try to explain.......... The Piston has a Slot, about a 1/4", running through the middle of the Piston, the rest is Solid Metal. If you know what I mean.....Like most cars nowadays That Piston is totally Hollowed out and some cars have two of them Compressing the Pads to the Rotor. Anyways, Please Help............. We both tried to Use a C-Clamp, Needle Nose Pliers, Pushing and Turning/Rotating down on that Piston but NOTHING!!!! If there's a neat little trick or special tool to do this simple job, Please any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all
  11. Any suggestions? The driver side was Replaced by ordering a rebuilt Caliper from a Local AutoParts store, around $95. Having trouble with Passenger side. Thanks

  13. Have looked into Discount Tires or Les Schawb??? 185 size is the way to go with your brat unless you want the skinny looking tires as the Gen 1 Subies. Here in Utah the 185/70/R13 go for $45-$65 per tire, higher end are $75 for Goodyear or Michellen.
  14. Thanks for the input.....Now the Hunt truely begins:grin:

  16. I got a Friend looking for a Driver Side Window for a 79' DL 2-Door Coupe. My Question is, Does Anyboby know for sure if a 77-80's model Subaru, ANY model, will fit the 79 DL?? Such as, a 79 Brat ,79 GL wagon,77 wagon, 80 brat and so on...... Called everyone Locally and nothing !! We may have found one in Oregon but not sure yet. One more thing.......Wondering if it's Even Possible to just Custom make a damn window from Plexi Glass or Real Glass???? Thanks Guys/Gals. Subie4Life.
