Ok so i have a quick question, im a few weeks from gettin my transplant, and i was curious if i wanted to do a 2.5 with 2.2 heads since i have to use the 2.2 intake could i jus keep the 1.8 intake and run my wireharness and it all run properly? I may be a little ahead of myself but im just curious

Yea but i have no abs I have pads but i have to re order new rotors because i got the ones for a 4wd with 14in rims instead of 2wd 13in rims, so im goin to drive it like that until the new rotors come it, because my are crappy, and i will get new drums and shoes aswell, hopefully its not my mc, but i think there cheap at my local junk yard and theres plenty there so im sure i can find one if needed

i have a 95 impreza i just put sll new brake fluid in, bled the lines and my pedals to the floor, the breaks work just not well, the brakes in the front a a little over half worn, idk about the back, could this be the issue? The pedal doesnt drop if i hold it there, but yea, any help would be appreciated and i can give more info if needed

Ok is a ebay mizumoto timiming kit fine? I dont wanna sink to much into it cuz its a rus bucket, just to shut my bro up lol, and another question if i can get my hands on a wrx or ej22t will it be easy to drop in? Cuz if i can find a better condition body with 5speed tranny ill drop the motor later on in ther and turbo it, i dont want much with the car i have, but if i can find a clean one ill hook it up

Ik u said it was easier i was just wondering the details, do i need just the y-pipe or do i need the manifolds too? Yes i can do a motor swap, havent done one on a subaru but looks easy enough, and the swap definatly sounds easy enough, hopefully i can find a ej22 and i was trying not to get an interference one but i planed on putting a new timing kit on w.e motor i get just so i dont have to worry about it in th future, thanks for the help

Well my local junk yard has alot of ej25s that say the motors still good figuring it had the headgasket problem and the owner junked it, ive seen a few ej22 but not very mant, the only reason i wanna do the swap is to piss off, my little brother, he just got an integra and thinks its the ************ so i was jus got drop in a ej25 and blow it on him, but if i can easily and more affordably hook up a ej22 then ill jus go search for that, thanks for the advice, how hard is the ej22 swap?

I have a 95 impreza witha ej18 in it and it terribly slow, so im going to get a ej25 to put in it, ik the transmissions and mounts are the ame but im curious what ill need off the 2.5 car, im guessing torque converter wiring harness and ecu, so any help on that front would be good Also i plan on putting new headgaskets and timing belt setup before i put it in my car, what brand of head gasket should i get that will prevent the leakage the stock gaskets get over time? Any other info you can think of would be greatly appreciated

Um ill have to get back to you on the nuetral or drive thing cuz i dont remember, ik it droos but idk which one its at that idle, and idk if it has aftermarket axles but the previous owner gave me all the repair bills and i believe that was one of them, and if it did i bet thats what it is, cuz it only does it every now and again, and ill clean the iacv, i remember on my maxima i had to change that cuz it kept idling rough and stalling alot

@ Robert Harick ive had the car for a little over 3 months and put new plugs, wires, fuel & air filters, and oil so im sure thats not the issue the only thing as far as tune up i should have to replace is the oil and im comin up on 3k miles soon. Ok well ill look into a new alternator Does a yone know the idle when the cars warmed up? I think mines low but im not sure

I dont think the cam has jumped time or anything cuz it starts perfectly fine and when warm it drives fine, i do think it needs a new alternator though, the lights dim out and stuff cinstantly, i can barely help jump someones car, could that be an issue? Also does anyone know what the warm idle should be?

I put 87 in it, i dont know anything more than that. no cel at all brake light turns on cuz i need new breaks and the fluid is low cuz of it, how do i re enable the cel if it was disabled? I got it from an older couple so i dont think theyd do it but never know, but i will check the vaccum lines and clean the maf and throttle body and see what that does

Haha ive never even heard of one of those i rememberanoter problem i have, when i frst drive the car the transmission shifts really hard into gears, but after i drive it a little it stops. im guessing it warms up slower then the engine because it isnt doin much when im just idling, but i still feel it shouldnt do it.
