I am going to add some fog lights to my soob and I was wanting to see what others have done. Can anyone show some pictures of their rides with fog lights to get some ideas on what size and style I want. Thanks. Any brands that are complete crap?

I have loyale with pushbutton 4wd (S/R). Are there any thoughts on how much I can drive it in 4wd? Should I keep it under a certain speed? Will it damage anything if I leave it in 4wd for a long period of time? Any answers would be greatly appreciated. Up till now I have only had it in 4wd in the snow (3 times). Thanks.

I made a trip up to see my parents in VA. and about 1.5 miles from their house I notice a soob parked in a yard. My dad and I went back to look at it later and I find out it is a gl-10 (turbo, full time 4wd, power everything, sunroof - i didn't know they were this nice!). The homeowner said it belongs to her sister who is in a nursing home and the car has been sitting for "quite a while" (6/02 inspection). She said she would discuss with her sister the possibility of selling. We offered $50.00 to tow it from her yard and she said she would think about it. The car is is great shape cosmetically and I am excited about the opportunity to try and get it running. If I become the owner I will keep you updated on the progress.

hey guys its redkard4 (the guy formerly known as "the goat"). i have found a gl-10 listed in the classifieds it is an 87 4wd, turbo, 89,000 miles, it's loaded and they want $300.00 for it. the problem is that they say it is to "fix up or use for parts" so i do not know what the condition is. does it run, body damage? i am trying to contact the owner today. my question: i own a 90 loyale 4wd, how much is interchangeable between the gl-10 and my loyale. ideal would be that the motor is in good condition and i could replace my ea82 with 200,000 miles and some oil leaks with the turbo. thanks for any help.

honestly, i am a mechanical idiot and it took me about 15 min. to complete the charge. i had heard that the it might not be that cool but the a/c works great. the only materials i had were the kit from advance auto parts and a haynes manual to show the high side/low side of the compressor.

this might not be a big deal to most but i am proud of it. i switched over my ac in my 90 loyale from r12 to r134 all by myself. i had been without ac for 3 years and finally decided to give it a try myself. $30.00 later and i sweat no more on the way to meetings.
i haven't been on in a while because i lost my internet due to some construction being done (cut the dsl line). i wasn't able to log back in as "the goat" don't really know why so i am now redkard4 for the time being. its good to be back.
Just got my first car today... And other assorted fixing fun.
