  1. Having an engine shipped is possible - most of the places I deal with will ship it for you. Check out www.car-part.com - that's the best source for engines.

  2. I see u said you could get tested 2.2 for $450?

I am southern ca. The engine is going in a vanagon as a replacement

I had the conversion done by Leon Korkin in Torrance and has never been right.

Just trying to get this running right were I don't have to add 3 quarts ever 250 miles.

Is it possible to crate and ship one of the motors u r talking about?

    Thanks

  3. Have a 95 ej22 . Been burning a lot of oil. Just replaced the spark plugs left side fine right side was in bad shape. Replaced pcv value old one had a little build up on it. There r no visible leaks coming from anywhere else. So it's burning up somewhere in the engine. There is smoke at first start up for the first mile them none, could it be the piston rings that r bad. Also I replaced the guide value seals and still burning oil. About 2 1/2 quart per tank. Any and all help would be great.
  4. Changed the pcv value, new plugs. Have not driven any distance to see how much oil it's burning yet. Seem to smoke when unfits start it and drive for about a mile then no more smoke? Any suggestions? Thanks
  5. I have a ej22. It is burning a lot of oil. No drip or visible leaks. Smokes a little I replace the value guide seals and still burning. Pulled the PVC looks fine. I replaced the spark plugs the other day and the left side looked fine but the right side looked really bad. Could the rings on the pistons be bad and allowing the oil to burn up that way? Thanks
