  1. If anyone has a new release bearing sitting on their shelf for a rainy day in the Auburn/Bonney Lake area, I would really appreciate having it this weekend. Name your price...I might find myself traveling a bit to buy an entire clutch kit if this doesn't work out. I've checked Autozone, O'Reilly, and Napa, and no dealers stock it. I was hoping to get it before Sunday. Alternatively, if someone knows of a store that stocks it, I would like to know that. I was planning on putting the motor back in my GL this weekend, borrowed a hoist from a coworker and all, and I really thought the throwout bearing would be easier to come by. Thanks in advance.
  2. The relay is located behind the fuse box in a GL, I assume it's the same in the Loyale. I basically had to sit the exact opposite of how I drive...Feet in the air, head on the floor in front of the clutch. There are four relays hiding up there behind the plastic trim.
  3. Never got around to those pictures, it's hard to wait up for the sun (or wake up before it goes away) working nights! Saw someone driving a Soob on my way from Bonney Lake to Enumclaw on Sunday, thought I got a wave but wasn't sure. Regardless, hello if you see this!
  4. He's not much to look at, but he's well loved. I'll get some if the sun decides to come out tomorrow. I guess that was too much to ask for today.
  5. After lurking on this forum for a while, I decided I might as well introduce myself. I'm from Auburn, WA. I own a 1986 GL 5MT with 4WD, which I purchased for $350 from a friend in January of 2010. I like to joke that I needed tires for my Pathfinder and buying the Soob was going to be less expensive, but in reality I had wanted a Soob of my own for years. Two birds with one personal check? Something like that. Over the two years I've owned the car, I've done a lot of preventive maintenance and diagnosis of small fires (not real ones, on this car at least), in large part thanks to the bounty of information I've come across in this forum. Lately I've been thinking about replacing the Hitachi with a Weber, as the car seems to hate cold mornings. I'm also looking to get some 13" wheels so I don't have to mount my all-season tires again after the ski season. If you're in the area, let's talk. So thanks to everyone who has contributed so far!
  6. Saw you were selling some wheels last year. Did you unload them or do you still have them?
