Heck yeah. And hte SVX inspired radio door cover is MOTORIZED, so when you lock the car it hides the stereo. That is just too cool. Those Scion TCs are going to make me a believer. What a great car!

I think so. Course, I think all new cars are a pretty big ripoff, with the exception of Dodge's SRT4. That's quite a bit of cheap fun for 20k. Errr. 21k. Still.

Even then it won't hurt anything. Cone filters have to be SUBMERGED in order for damage to occur. Don't believe me? Put one on your shop vac, and put HALF of it in the water. A tiny amount of water might come up, but for the most part, the filter still above the water will be sucking air in at twice the regular rate. And... a little water is good for the engine. Hence the reason water injection is around. Increases compression a tad, cools the pistons, removes a bit of carbon. Anyway...

I don't get it either. It says right on the bottle that synthetic meets all the requirements of standard atf, and then some. ?! Whatever. I had it in my SVX for a while, but they don't sell it in madison so now I'm back to regular ATF.

Madison WI here. Just use mobil 1, no additives. F1 cars don't use additives so I don't see a reason our subies need them. They also use mobil 1. Anyway, one thing I'd upgrade to if you haven't already is a drain bolt with a magnet in it. It helps a little. - Rob

That's just bull************. Sorry. Ever heard of people hitting those things called trees? They don't have much 'give'. Neither does concrete, dumptrucks, etc. Quit defending them. They're slow ill handling pieces of crap that endanger everyone else.

Not necessarily. That full frame also doesn't crumple very well. I knew someone who rear ended a dump truck on the highway in a bronco. Full frame. She got pretty messed up. Had she been in a car, she would have faired a lot better. My old boss was in his big rump roast SUV on the highway, and someone rear ended him at about 60mph. He still has neck problems to this day. Had he been in a car that absorbed more of the impact he might be in better shape. I only wish SUV ownership on people I despise.

Then you should know that guardrails are much too low to stop SUVs from going over, a car with a real frame transfers more crash energy to it's occupants, automakers give SUVs hard non grippy tires to reduce the chances of rollover (and make them handle and brake like a 1950s car), and that the federal roof strength standard hasn't changed since 1972, right? Liar.

MAN I love those wheels. I wish I knew what they were. ARGH.

I suggest reading "High and Mighty: The world's most dangerous vehicles and how they got that way", it's all about SUV's and how unsafe they are. One of the chapters discusses brush guards, and how horrible they are in car to car collisions. You wouldn't know it, but you're endangering people by getting one. Course, the same could be said of f*cking SUVs.
