  1. Have your sensors checked and trouble codes or you could be wasting money. Trying to figure a missing engine can lead you in the wrong direction and cause you to replace things that don't need to be replaced.
  2. The redline could have loosened some sludge that clogged your injectors, and it could be as simple as replacing ignition wires with a faulty one. It happens! Sometimes coils can act up once the engine becomes hot, but usually this just shuts the whole car down. Good luck.
  3. Hey Everybody, I had recently purchased a 1998 Impreza Outback Sport 2.2L. It has 51,000 miles on it and runs like a champ. Could somebody tell me what a realistic replacement interval is for the timing belt on this model? Would anybody recommend replacing the tensioners and water pump at the same time? Thanks.
