Hello I want to take my plastic back bumper cover off my 2001 outback sedan and replace it. Can you just take the cover off or do you have to take the metal brace inside it off. There are 2 bolts on each side above the mudflaps and I tried taking them off but they just spin. Can someone tell me how to do this job,thanks a bunch

Hello I have a 2001 outback sedan and my drivers side passenger door was dented.Will a wagon door fit and if so will I have to change the window out. My sedan is white with the gold trim. I live in Portland and am looking door a clean door to replace mine. Also looking for both back door panels since my dog dig a little clawing. The door panels are beige with the top being brown. Also looking for the beige carpet floor mats thanks

can someone tell me if a Hi Low 5 speed tranny can be placed in a 1988 4wd subaru which at this time is a auto. Tranny went by by. I am wondering if the dual range tranny would fit and what would I need to accomplish this . Would the console of the dual range and molding fit on the newer 1988. What would be the cost and does anyone in the Portland Oregon area have experience doing this.

Hello, I don't mean to bring up an old subject but... My auto transmission works fine when warmed up. But when it is first started when not warmed up I put it in drive or reverse and it sits there for a short time and does nothing eventually it will engage and then everything is fine. Any ideas out there also I do not want to go to a 5 spd, just want to get this problem fixed, thanks

Hello, I have a 1994 legacy. It looks like the radio area would be big enough to fit a newer subaru radio/cd player, Has anyone tried this I want to have a 6 player cd like in the newer subarus. I really dont want a aftermarket stereo. I would like to keep it subaru stock if you know what I mean. I am not sure if it will fit and then the big problem would be the wiring, Thanks for any help or guidance on attempting this project

I have alway owned Loyales. I just obtained a 1994 legacy. I changed the oil and noticed alot of oil on the bottom of the engine. I am not sure but I think the engine is a 2.2. Are there any quirks to these engines about oil leaks. The first thing I will do is replace vavle cover gaskets, any other suggestions. Also what years of Leagacy's are the parts interchangeable, again I have not owned a Legacy before, thanks in advance

Hello, I have a chance of getting a 89 subaru wagon awd auto with turbo. My question is that everytime I see a turbo listed for sale most of the time they have blown head gaskets or over heated. Is it bad mojo to get a turbo. I would like to get a replacement turbo engine but am I looking at a problem engine should I look for a legacy turbo instead. I like the loyal and it it clean. Can someone help me. ALso any good sub mechanics in portland are if I find out the turbo is the way to go, thanks

Hello, I know everyone is against auto but I seem to like it. I am not interested in changing to 5spd. Both are loyales. I have a friend that has a 1993 4wd 5spd that he blew the engine. He has brand new cvs on the front. Would those fit on my 1994 auto 4wd. I've been told the starter wont fit from the 5spd to auto. Is this true. How about the rear end is the ratio different so that it would lower my rpms on my auto. Is there anything else that is mechanical that will or won't fit. Hello, I look on ebay at parts and also on threads here where there are parts or interchangeable parts always to 1993 and never see anything mentioned about 1994. Does 1994 have different components on it compared to the 1991-1993 loyale. What is different. Also is there a list of interchange parts that would fit my 1994 loyale for both body and mechanics, thanks in advance Also am looking for a 4wd 3at auto parts wagon. I have a 1994 loyale 4wd auto. I have a chance to get a 1989 turbo auto. I guess these are 4eat. I have been told they are better trannys. I want to stay with auto because I am tired of shifting. Anywho can someone tell me what I will need to do this. will it bolt up to the rear . What parts besides tranny should I take, This is all new to me so I want to make sure I get everything I need, Also will this fit or will it be junk. I don't know I need advice, thanks

I looked could not find any info. I have a 94 loyale 4wd auto. Can the 4at fit in the car easily or would it not fit at all. I am guessing if it would fit that the rpms would be lower. Is this a dream has anyone done this and again is it worth it and if so which subaru's have the 4at. I am just wondering whether it is a dream or not. thanks all in advance

Hello, I meant to ask this when I asked my original question. I have a 94 loyale 4wd auto. Is there a difference beween auto trannies in 2wd and 4wd. I have a chance to get a 91 loyale auto tranny 2wd but not sure if it would fit. Also what years are available.... thanks again

I recently bought an Impreza sport wagon and it pings like my old Loyale used to. I know I will check the other gas staions out on regular. By the way it is not turbo. Do I go to the medium gas or the high octane? Any suggestions and thanks

I have a 1993 sedan 4wd and is fuel injected and is an automatic. When I take off it stalls as if it had a carb and had a dead spot in it. I took off at a stop sign and it took off then stalled. The car does not stop it just drops in power then in a couple seconds it takes off. I took off at an intersection and almost got hit because of the stall. Dose anyone have a clue whats happening. Thanks in advance !!!!!
