  1. Base-lined her: Oil + filter, timing belts, tensioners, fixed leaks, new tires, front drive axles, replaced steering bellows, PCV valve, spark plugs, removed and cleaned EGR valve, Reset EGR light on dash. Feels like new. Now for a new radio...this old Hitachi unit is garbage.
  2. 1985 GL wagon. 132,500. 2nd owner. I've had it about 4 months. Near perfect.
  3. I'll try a factory PCV valve. Hopefully that solves the problem. I do wish that I could make it smoke on-demand. Thanks folks.
  4. Thanks to whoever gave me permission to post and search. I have a 85' GL Wagon 5-speed, 4WD (non-turbo) with 130,000 miles. It run perfect, but when I take a hairpin corner at speed it will throw the densest cloud of burnt oil/exhaust ever seen by man. Any ideas what the problem is? I'm assuming that it has something to do with the crankcase oil moving to one side of the motor, but this can't be what the Suby engineers designed. I just replaced the PCV valve, but still get the same issue. Thanks in advance.
