You can be this low and still have travel. I used Kevint143's method he used on his brat '85 GL 10 front struts with 3 coils cut off of the spring. I recommend cutting a little at a time and then checking it as you go. Don't go big because you can't go back. Then I clocked the torsion bar and replaced the rear shocks with Nissan Frontier front shocks. I'm not sure the part number for this but if you'd like I can figure it out. Rides like stock but pretty low. If I had a different wheel I might be a little lower but I'm pretty stoked on where it's at. I'm curious to the offset on those cragar wheels though. Do either of you know?

That's good to know. I actually found a few places that will do custom bolt patterns. But what offset did you use on the 15x8s? -

This may be a stupid question but did you have to put an adapter on or drill the hub or did the 6x5.5 fit on the 4x140? -

Well, I wasn't pushing very hard to sell my car and now I'm not going to sell it but push forward on my plans that I had in the first place. Has anyone had experience putting on wider wheels? I'm going to just do smooth steelies but I want to go wider and I'm not sure of what offset and so on to do. Any insight would be awesome. Thanks! -

Here's the listing for it with additional photos and information. Located in Salt Lake City, UT http://www.ksl.com/auto/listing/1487207 Thanks guys! -

I have more photos of progress but something has changed and I don't know how to upload them... help? -
This is my first post in here and I've been stoked on all the stuff I've learned from the forums. You may be opposed to what I'm doing, which everyone has their right to an opinion but for those that are interested, this is what I'm up to. I'm restoring and styling the car a little more like the common JDM styled datsun 510 and classics along the same line. It will be a bit lower (not slammed) have different wheels that are wider and some other odds and ends to make it a little sportier. Here's some photos of what it looked like when I bought it and the progress I've made thus far.
