We've been using a couple of the early low-high range 4wd on our hunting camp for years. The Fuel tanks went out just after the rear brakes, lol. we've replaced doors exhaust ( so as not to start fires) they both are a lot of fun.Just didn't know bout' the gears and really wanted more than ever just to get the little boogers attention! How much do FF1 and 360 Manuals go for?

I've got a 1984 GL 4WD Station Wagon. Thinking about using the IRS in a 1929 Ford Hot Rod with a V8 with 300 HP. How long do you think it would last?

No it's not. There were problems in 81 or 82 with the fuel Peculation. The cover was to keep the heat from the Radiator off the Carb. there were a number of different things that were done as a recall, the problem was due to using a Carb with a ECM. We found it best to kill the power to the ECM. Subaru of America never knew this though.
