    I have had 4 Generation 1 subaru brats when I was younger, I just bought a 84GL Brat want to restore with my son and lift it, eventually motor swap & 5speed trans. Looking to learn all the best ways to do so.

    I just bought a 84 Brat GL, its pretty clean well taken care of.I drove it about 130miles today between 65 & 70 and at first the oil pressure gauge was peged all the way and then it would drop to half way and then almost bottom out. I stopped every 30 miles and checked the oil, full,not over either. it just had the oil changed 350 miles ago and it was really clean. Any thoughts?
