  1. i dont actually know what its called but i was replacing my rear cv and was having some some trouble getting the outside to come off and ended up hitting that shaft that runs through the drum assembly with a hammer to see if it would help. it didnt. i got it off and the new axle installed but now that shaft is wobbly. tightened down the castle nut and still is really loose. so if anybody know what that shaft is actually called so i can order a new one or if you have any suggestions for me it would be appreciated
  2. Having the same problem. My axle is stuck on the outer spline. How much heat should I apply?
  3. how about adjusting/replacing the lifters? wondering if i would need to pull the engine or if i could do it without that. mine sits 2 inches lower as i did put a lift on it.
  4. got the oil pump back on timing belt is on and when i went to start it it started to turn over but then it wouldnt. starters working it just wont turn on. i checked the timing belts theyre both good its getting spark and i can smell fuel so im pretty sure its getting gas. any ideas on what the problem could be?
  5. alright do I need to lube up the rings with oil upon re-installation?
  6. i checked out rock auto. they had a gasket but it wont fit my oil pump. im confused do i not need like an actual cork gasket? i have the mickey mouse O-ring deal but i thought i could get gasket too.
  7. anybody know where i can get an oil pump gasket for an 88 gl wagon? ive looked all over the internet and cant find anything.
