Its not points its a electronic inside disty i guess its magnetic im new to all this

Ok update i think it has to do with something getting hot. It runs fine till u shut it down for about 20 mins and it starts up running rought kinda missing. Is this the coil or distributor getting hot or what???

Im not sure of the jetting its a 32-36 weber. I just thought maybe someone had the same simptoms before didnt know it was a problem.

Got a weberized 80 brat that seems to want to pop and crack and spit and sputter when it gets hot. Whats wrong with it

Ive still got adjust choke back a little it starves for air if ya punch it below 2k but it runs alot better

Would recomend this to anyone love my 80 brat now smoother and seems to have more power easy to do too

Its a 1980 brat top mount starter. Its leaking where the shifter linkage goes into the trans its dtipping down onto the exhaust behind the cat

Timing light shuts off with the motor at or around 1200 rpm and above that it runs like a charm
