Would it be posible to put the struts from a 97 outback to a 95 legacy ls awd? all the sheetmetal should be the same, such as doors,rear hatch and those type of things? thanks steve

I have a 1991 legacy awd wagon with 2.2 and automatic. About 2 weeks ago the car would not move in reverse but works perfect in drive,goes thru all the gears great. What could be the problem?

i have a 1990 legacy with a 2.2 and automatic. i was driving it the other day going about 60 mph and i heard a clunk and the transmission shifted out of drive and into 3rd and now will only go into 3rd and no reverse. just wondering if anyone has any idea how bad it might be. thanks steve

CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS FLASHING AND DOES'NT EFFECT THE CAR RUNNING OR STARTING. IT HAS HAD AN EFFECT ON THE GAS MILEAGE. IT HAS GONE DOWN SINCE THE LIGHT STARTED FLASHING. I'LL START FROM THE BEGINNING. I BOUGHT THE CAR AND HAD A STARTING PROBLEM, IT WOULD START WITH A JUMP BUT NOT BY ITSELF. TOOK IT TO A MECHANIC FRIEND WHO PUT A AMP TESTER ON THE STARTER AND FOUND IT WAS BAD AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. WHEN AT HIS HOUSE I STARTED THE CAR AND THAT WAS THE FIRST TIME THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT STARTED FLASHING. WENT TO AUTO ZONE TO HAVE IT TESTED AND THEY SAID AIR FLOW AND SAID CHANGE THE MAF, WHICH I DID. NO CHANGE AT ALL. TOOK IT TO A TIRES PLUS WERE THEY READ THE CODE AND CAME UP WITH, MANUFACTUER CONTROLLED AIR METERING. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT I NEED TO CHANGE? HELP. I Have A 95 Legacy Ls Awd Wagon With An Automatic. I've Had This Ongoing Problem When I'm Going Down The Highway At 70-75 I'll Drive For About 20 Miles OR So And The Car Will Drop Out Of Overdrive And Run About 3200-3400 Rpms Until I Would Have To Stop. When I Would Get Back In To Drive It Would Be Fine Again For Awhile. It Does'nt Happen At Lower Speeds Just At 70-75. Any Ideas? Thanks

I Have A 95 Legacy Ls Awd Wagon. My Question Is Does The Abs Sensors Have Anything To Do With The Awd. It Seems Like The Rear Wheels Don't Push As Much As I Thought They Would In The Snow. I've Had A 90 Loyale With Awd That Pushed Alot More Than This Car Seems To. Help!!!!

it seems to be easiest to take off the top bolt and jackup the car and takeoff the other bolt from underneath the car. it only took me about 25 min. to change mine. make sure to disconnect the negative battery terminal first.

I recently purchased a 1995 legacy ls awd wagon. It needed a little work, like replacing rear struts,starter and battery. Now i have a problem i don't know how to fix, when i turn the car on the check engine light flashes constantly but does'nt seem to effect anything other than ever once in awhile the idle will drop down below 500 rpm's but will still keep running. So i was wondering if anybody had ever had that problem and what would need to be done to correct it.
