  1. 91 5 speed wagon not sure if 4x4 or not haven't received car yet [free] the owner that's giving it to me ran it completely out of gas now when they start it runs ok when barely giving it gas but if you push the pedal down while driving under load engine misses and carries on. they seem to think since it was ran bone dry some junk in the tank is sucking up when you mash down on the throttle. my info is 2nd hand as i have not seen the vehicle. new to the board and posted in wrong thread earlier. any help or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  2. Hello and thanks in advance for any help. a buddy of mine is giving me a 91 loyale wagon 5 speed not sure yet if 4x4 or not. The issue he is telling me is the Lady that gave it to him to give to me ran it completely out of gas now it will start and run when given a little throttle put when you press down on pedal with normal driving under a load he said starts missing and sputtering. they seem to think since it was ran dry some stuff in the tank are sucking up and not getting fuel. i can't answer to many questions because my info is coming second hand. they put wires plugs etc.... on it at first thinking that was the problem, now they think it's the fuel tank issue. Thanks
