  1. Yea she's not going to run for a while but the plug looked line I checked the gap it was alright I really don't know how it happend

  4. Oils full a 1k ago and yes it's factory timing gear Texan and when it runs it sounds like a bad miss fire with the knock after everything iv put in to this car in the past year I'm really ready to let her go she's straying the money pit decent

  6. Didn't over heat rad is full plug was almost out and timing is did pulled the right side cove and belt looks to be in good shape

So here we go I have a 06 Lego 2.5I I love this can the problem I'm having is yesterday I was on the road all day no problems went home and forgot something long story short got back in the car hit the road made it aout a mile and lost 95% of it's power and strarted to knock pulled over poped the hood she was smoking but would still idel at about a grand with a light knock try to move knock gets loud and there's no power got her home did a block test normal checked plugs found i need vavle cover gaskets but plug 3 was loose fixed that still in the bad and now burning oil I think ring any ideas thanks guys

  9. Can I remove all my AC components with out draining the Freon it's a 97 legacy EJ25 thank you any tips would be great trying to strip the car for scrap and can't get it to a shop.to be drained any way thanks again
  10. Well guys my 97 is no more thanks to a twisted frame however I'm parting her out not sure on how to go about it on here due to lack of PayPal and a checking account any info would be great thanks guys
  11. I cleared the code and Took her for a 50 mile ride I got on the high way and opened her up and it sounded like the valves fluttered at 4,500 rpm and the code came back and went in to limp as for the timing it looks all about right for the mileage
  12. Are they related if not what is going on I'm new to VVT and have no clue what the deal is. Problem start today I have an 06 legacy 2.5I auto with 150k I can not rev past 4,000 RPM in gear I need help as in drive a lot on the highway any help would be great thanks P.S. timing was done at 100k
  13. I'm going to give it the tune up before the trip I would love to take my 97but as it stands she's stuck in the drive way until she's finished the reason it's so important that I go is my daughter.needs to see a specialist but they are in Albany and I'm in New Hampshire

  15. Brakes are free first thing I checked and belts are 3days old I did them thinking that was it I'll check cvs and fluid the morning.could it be any timing components?
