  1. I have similar problem but its constant, had 2 mechanics tell me my cats are bad. I do hear a rattling from exhaust pipes, not sure if its my heat sheild or not. I can get my rpms up pretty high but car won't accelerate while rpms are rising. Mine doesn't stall and has no cel.
  2. I have the torque pro app but can't get obd2 bluetooth adapter to communicate with ecu. Would anyone know what a good adapter is for a 99 2.2L legacy? I have the mini elm327 and the place I bought it says it won't work on my car. Also didn't work on a 2000 camaro 3.8 liter.
  3. Think my ignition coil may be bad, not getting and resistance when checking male pin connectors for primary resistance. Getting about 12k ohms when checking secondary resistance, Think i should be getting 18k. So these figures indicate a bad coil?
  4. I'll try replacing vacuum lines. replaced filler neck, no more cel for 2 weeks now but still lacks acceleration. Seems to accelerate ok when tank is over 3/4 full. I heard evap test may not run till tank is down to 3/4 full?? Could i still have an evap leak with no cel on?
  5. Stewart, any resolution to this? I have similar problem
  6. Similar problem on my 99 legacy 2.2, just replaced rusted out filler neck and has kept cel off. Had a p0440 code showing before repair. Still slow to accelerate, have new plugs and wires on to. Possibly a bad coil pack?
  7. Well, i replaced filler neck, found one in great condition at junk yard for $15, going to clean it up and put rubberized spray on it. Then I'll put plastic cover on. Car runs much better, on 5th day without check engine light on. Still getting an slight exhaust smell in cabin. Wondering if i have an exhaust leak. Thank you for all your advice on this guys.
  8. Inspected filler neck, huge hole at top of it, could fit a couple fingers in it. Temporarily patched with emergency tape and duct tape till part new part arrives. Actually runs better already.
  9. Fixed brake issue, figured out check valve in booster vacuum hose bad, $30 at dealer and brakes are good. Will get back to evap now that safety issue fixed.
  10. Bushwick, think your on to something with the parameters being reached and cel coming on. After i disconnect battery and clear cel car runs great. I think computer figures out problem and sets off code.
  11. evap Canister Seems to be ok, I'll check the house with in line valve, pcv valve hose is on tight. I'll probably replace all the vacuum hose i can to eliminate any issues. I do have a new gas cap, not oem, no whoosh sound, no shut off problems when refueling. Gas filter tube is rusted and probably needs replacement. I definitely think there's something with the evap canister or in line valve. When you're outside the car you can smell/taste exhaust. I also have brake booster issue, could this tie into evap problem, tested booster, not airtight.
  12. Any future problems after master cylinder replacement? I have same problem.
