  1. Hi All, I/we, will be moving home within the next couple of months; we're moving to Wiltshire, the Hilperton Area of Trowbridge. I was wondering if any of our members live in or around the Trowbridge area? I will shortly after moving; require a Service and MOT on the Outback.. I'm looking for a friendly garage in the area. Could anyone recommend a (not Dealership) garage suitable for working on my Subaru Outback; without charging me a fortune? help and advise appreciated..
  2. Today I pulled the bonnet catch on my 2002 Outback and nothing happened . I've tried pushing down; lifting up; giving it a tap; and pushing the outside lever through the grill. !Removed! thing won't budge. Can anyone help? Does anyone have a sensible suggestion to release the hood? Help Please.
  3. Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum; and I have a question about the High & Low Ratios on the Subaru Outback AWD UK Model 2.5 petrol engine. What is the correct procedure for changing the High & Low Ratios? On the dashboard clock to the top left of speedo is a small orange coloured LO when the ignition is turned on; the high-low lever is forward (down) towards the dash .. I've tried when the vehicle is stationary ; and engine running; and clutch pedal depressed all the way to the floor, bringing the lever bak up in to the High position; but there was no change to the orange coloured LO on the top left of speedo. Should that wee LO change to HI or similar? or am I not using the lever correctly; or maybe it's not working? Help and advise appreciated Regards Moss
  4. Hello, I've just signed up to your forum; because I have just acquired a 2002 Subaru Outback AWD (UK vehicle) The car runs nicely; but there are a few questions I'd like to ask about the running of the vehicle. The car has covered 57000 miles; and the bodywork and interior are in excellent condition. The Subaru belonged to my older Brother who sadly passed away just over a month ago. The vehicle has always been garaged. I'm 67, years young, enjoy cycling and swimming, also Fly fishing and enjoy Ballroom Dancing. I also own a Honda Civic 2004 Executive 1.6. with 37,000 miles on the clock. I'm really interested in the Subaru outback. so may ask lots of (Idiotic) questions? Please be patient with me. Regards Moss
