  1. I've got a 1994 Impreza with 101,000 miles. It has developed an oil leak that only occurs under hard acceleration, such as when entering a highway. Th leak is hard to pinpoint, but it is coming from the back of the engine and it's landing on an exhaust part, producing smoke. Again, the problem only happens under hard acceleration. Anyone know what's going on?
  2. I was recenlt given a 1985 GL 4wd wagon with 96,000 miles on it. The car is in great shape with one exception. The original owner had trouble with overheating and claims to have never found a solution to the problem. He was under the impression that the car has some sort of inherent design problem that is only remedied by replacing the engine. Anyone have experience with this?
