  1. Anybody know what size the inner tie rods are on an 93 fwd loyale? I need to rent the tool from the local auto store but don't know the size adapter I need. Been trying to find out bit can't seem to locate the info. Thanks.
  2. Found a spun bearing in my ea82 and just got a newly rebuilt ea82 for cheap. Swapped it in over the weekend and problem solved. Now I'm gonna rebuild the one I took out so I ha e a spare motor. Wining!!
  3. Thanks guys. I took of my wheel and rotor/caliper and spun the axle by hand. Definitely coming from the bearings. Will be replacing them this weekend
  4. Happened again on my way home last night... Was driving down the road and made a right and the brake started dragging. Enough to make it smoke.
  5. So my loyale developed a weird problem. The passenger side front brake locks up some times. Not a full lock but enough to bring it to a stop. I replaced the pads and rotors thinking that was the problem but it still does it. Also I have a rubbing/grinding noise from that wheel before and after replacement and a clunking noise whenever I turn right and only when I turn right. Any help?
  6. So can I use a non turbo 4wd flywheel/clutch combo on a 2wd car. I have a 93 loyale ea82
  7. Can I use a EA82 4wd drive flywheel on my 93 FWD loyale and if so will it require a 4wd clutch kit?
  8. Here is a you tube video link of my car and the noise it's making. I should note that I used a stethoscope today and the noise seems to be coming from the number number 3 and 2 heads...
  9. so i cant figure out this knock/clack i got going. anybody got a spare ea82 lying around they would part with for a decent price? in the portland and surrounding areas?
  10. did you do it without pulling the engine or trans completely from the car?
  11. It's not severe... Like I said it is intermittent, and doesn't do it when cold and seems to be affected by throttle input... I was just outside while on break at work showing a co worker and also noticed my timing belts seem to flex so to speak when the engine is running. I turned the engine off and can rotate the timing belts almost 180 degrees... I just replaced them a few hundred miles ago, but reused the tensioners... Could this be my issue? I've seen this on other cars where the tensioners were worn and caused problems
  12. another update... so after about a week of having trans fluid in my oil, with 20w50... the tick is gone but the clack remains... odd thing is it only does it after the car warms up... upon start up in the morning its non existent, but as it warms up it comes to life and clacks away, also it is intermittent under power, sometimes loud, sometimes quiet and varies with throttle pressure.... what gives?
  13. i saw a thread on her about how to do it without removing the engine or trans but now i cant seem to located it, any help there. i dont wanna pull my engine cause this car is my daily driver and my only transpo to and from work cause i work nights
