Okay.... I got it. Let this be a lesson to everyone. Check your fuses thouroghly!!! The fuse was blown that says engine gauges.. Painfuly obvious. It blew because i temporarily piggy backed something on it. Also thats another lesson temporary fixes need to be temporary.

I have an 85 gl loyale wagon. I was passing someone on the hwy and my digital dash went out. Lights blinkers etc work but nothing else does. I would care much about it but my alternator isnt charging either... Ive never had a subaru before and got this one for free non running.... Just needed a timing belt. Checked a few of fuses in panel seem ok... Looks like fusible links next to battery are ok too. Is my next adventure behind the dash? Any insight is appretiated. Thank you.

I would try looking at a wrecking yard. Im not sure you can get them anywhere else.
