  1. I have a 2000 Forester I'm trying to repair. Hit by a deer in front. Most of the bumper is good, some of the metal around the headlights is bent. Buying salvage yard replacement parts and wondering where I can find an exploded view of the front body assembly. Anyone know? Thanks
  2. Thanks for replying. Are those Outback model numbers or tranny model numbers and where do I find them? And what years are they out of? I was hoping to hear something to tell a salvage yard that would be simple and accurate. TIA
  3. Anyone know for sure? I'm looking at buying a dead 2000 OBW automatic and need to replace the tranny with a salvage yard purchase. Yes, the tranny is really dead. What other years/models will fit? No speculation guys. If you don't know, don't reply. Thank you, thank you, thank you. in advance. if you have the answer.
  4. Yes. It is under new ownership/management. Call Jason directly at the number above.
  5. Their online site is going to be taken down. They are changing ownership, but their greatly dicounted parts will still be available to USMB members through Jason at the 866-528-5282 number. MAKE A NOTE OF IT! I am definately plugging them/him. I have saved a ton on new parts and gaskets and the service/help/advice is the best. Even though I'm on the other side of the country. So.
  6. I have a Silver 99 GT Ltd 30th anniversary edition sedan with a 5 speed tranny. Heard a rumor this was a limited production vehicle. Anyone know about this or where to find out? Anyone want to buy it after the head gaskets are replaced? Thanks.
  7. If you decide on the OEM rack (which is made by Yakima), I have a set I'll sell you for $50 shipped. How's that?
  8. Got it. Disconnect the battery, key to "on", reconnect. Seems to have worked.
  9. Only have a key and a dead battery. Push started the car but the alarm kept screaming. Anyone????? Thanks!
  10. I'll give you $1500 cash for it as is. ??????????????? OK?
  11. I'm looking at a 92 wagon online and the markings on the back are off. How can I find out? Thanks for the help!!!
  12. I tried replacing the broken 96 cluster in a 5 speed with a 97 cluster from an auto and one of the plug-ins was different. Can I leave the extra wire off? Or is there a way to adapt them? Anybody have one from a 96 5 spd and want to sell or trade?
  13. Anyone know if an Imprezza Outback 2.2 motor will drop into the Legacy with no modifications or ECU changeout? I appreciate the help
  14. Bump. any advice or tips about removing the speed sensor would be appreciated. As an aside, 1rtsubaru ships ata snails pace. Could walk it here in a frickin week.
  15. Hi folks. First posting on the board. It has been a big help to me. I have a 97 Outback, speedo and cruise are out and CEL is on, ordered a VSS from 1rstsubaru, it should arrive tomorrow. Got under there today with a 17 mm to see how tight it might be, and, well, it is seriously on there. Wondering if there is a trick to this seemingly easy swap, or do I just muscle it off. Don't want to strip it. Any help/advice is much appreciated. Also, if it really IS the VSS, then I'll have a speedo cluster from a 97 auto for sale with 87K on it that I bought from a salvage yard before I read here that if the cruise is out too, then it's the VSS. $50 plus shipping. Thank you!
