cblwilson replied to abubailey's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXMaybe cuz they have more power than people think? My '90 Legacy wagon seems to have some serious get up and go for a Subie.

93 Legacy wagon
cblwilson replied to peedeedot's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXUsually there are two screws per side to adjust up/down and side to side. Look just inside the grill next to each headlight for the screws for side to side adjust. You might have to lift the hood to access the ones at top of light for up/down adjust.

2003 Outback is also a PIECE of JUNK!!!
cblwilson replied to rem14's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXThat is very odd to me. Japanese cars are well known for their workmanship and longevity. I would say you might have got a lemon. It does happen from time to time.

please never use fram oil filters again! (pics)
I've used nothing but SuperTech filters and oil in my '02 Santa Fe since it was new, 35K miles later all is well. I can second using them.

Automatic Transmission Filter
cblwilson replied to johnb102's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXUmmmmm, PartsAmerica ain't always right in their part applications. I know from personal experience with my old Pontiac and buying from them, then going back again, and again, to get the right part.

Noob to the board
I was driving around tonight in the Subie and realized I don't miss the Pontiac much at all. Sure is nice to have working A/C and a smooth ride.

Hi y'all. I just picked up my 2nd subie for a little more reliable transportation instead of the beater ('69 Lemans). It's a '90 Legacy L AWD wagon, great little car, only has 70K miles. God I love Japanese cars and their build quality.
