Hello everyone, I need to purchase a DashMat for my blue interior brat. I see DashMat has 2 blues. Navy and Dash Blue. Can someone comment if they bought a blue DashMat for their car and which blue it was. I’m thinking navy but I am torn. Thank you

For the blue interior dashmat makes a Navy and a Dashboard blue. At first I thought the Navy would be good now I think it’s to dark and the dash blue is better. Does anyone have any experience with what blue is a closer match? I’m also deciding between the carpet or velour.....

Hey Guys Went to Napa today for Dist cap, rotor, plugs and wires. Of course all needed to be ordered. No big deal. They asked me what kind of distributor I have in my 84 brat. I told them I’m not sure. I need to know if the dist cap is venting or non venting. Does it matter? Thanks in advance!

Hello everyone, My brat has a perfect blue dashboard. And I would like to keep it that way. Most of the older Subaru’s out there the dash’s are all cracked and destroyed. I have been reading things that Armor All is not good for the dash but can’t believe everything you read. Does anyone have a recommendation on what to use on the dash to protect it and preserve it? Maybe I will get a dash carpet mat also. thank you

Hello, I have been looking for a windshield and seal kit for my 1984 Brat. A local glass supplier has a 1985-1989 Subaru GL/DL 2 door/4 door windshield. Along with a FW499 3pc molding kit. I do not have a picture of the windshield. Can someone tell me if they are compatible? They also said they have windshield moldings WKT 499 B and WKT 499 C. Not sure if these are compatible with a 1984 brat. Can someone please chime in Thanks in advance

I have 1 spring under the rubber boot. It pulls the shifter handle to the right. Should there be 2 springs or is mine hooked up wrong?

Is the 5 speed a direct swap for the 4 speed or are there modifications? What year and model 5 speeds should I look for? Thank you

Hello everyone, I have a question about the neutral resting spot of a 4 speed manual brat. When the shifter is in neutral where should it be? Mine is between 3rd and 4th all the way over to the right. So basically I don’t need to pull the shifter to the right at all. I just need to move it straight up for 3rd or straight down for 4th. I thought it should be right in the middle between 1-3 and 2-4. Should the shifter handle be offset like this? It looks weird leaning to the right. Thank you I’m advance
