Hey guys, Can someone tell me if any parts off an 1984 subaru leone turbo wagon can work on an 89' xt6? Specifically if the half rear shafts could work??

Ok thats is basically exactly what i needed to know .......so to boil it that I am figuring that my diff lock system is not working why, because nothing happens when i press the diff lock button, Should a light turn on if the diff lock is on or off?

no im not feeling anything because my cv half shaft on the rear right passenger side is missing....so i cant move thats why i was curious on the way the systems work

oh and the diff lock button is next to the e-brake

hey yeah its a full time awd with manual transmission and i currently cant move because i need a half shaft and so what you are telling me that the 4 wheels only spins under a high rpm?

Hey guys, I'm not familiar with Subaru cars and trying to become as abreast as possible with my 1989 XT6. I have so many questions.....and trying to look for parts: how exactly does the 4wd system engage? (technically speaking) because I push the button and i don't feel as if though it works. Where can I find a rear passenger side half shaft. These are just a few things that I need to know to get my suuub moving can anyone please help!!!

Good day, fellas I am having a hard time locating the rear passenger side cv joint for my xt6 can anyone tell me where i can find 1 or is there another car that i can source it from?

Yes i was thinking to.use the front passenger side axle at the rear passenger side

Ok very informative thanks for all the info.....going to take a look at those after I've fully diagnosed if the air struts/shocks are still in working condition (hopefully they are) and then I'll see where I can go from there!!! Thanks again guys!!!

If i were to look at conventional one...where do i begin to look? like to keep as many options available you know.....have problems finding a radiator too, seems to me everything about this car is rare.

Hey guys thanks for the replies....what i meant when i said that "i don't know where the compressor is"..... i meant that its not there....only the air tank and a bunch of electrical connectors......so I'm lost...i don't know where to begin....I'm not even sure if the air struts are still working!!!
