erik $95 for the mat or $900 to get it retrimmed what would you choose??? -
Check out the rims, they aren't standard anymore! New valve caps, I've been trying to find these for ages! and finally a custom dash mat from belmont auto carpets (PH. 92779494) Free plug because they did a damn good job, it's the little things that count, for example the plastic piece that covers the vents on top of the dash was bent and buckled from heat, they fixed that before making the mat. the mat is completely custom because no one mkes one for the vortex, it cost me AU$95 and here it is

okay watching beyond tomorrow last night i saw the mercedes slr mclaren. the exciting it was the way it starts flip up the panel with the h pattern on the shifter and there is a engine start buttion underneath, so i got to thinking the 4wd manual vortex had the shifter with the 4wd switching button on top, how hard would it be to wire this button up to the ignition??? my vortex is 2wd so i would have to find a shifter as well i know it's rice but i think it would be something different and could even be considered an anti-theft device in some ways if i left the button labeled as 4wd and disconnected the start part of the ignition switch. opinions anyone??? i found a picture of the mercedes version

my first speeding ticket
85vortex replied to omniman69's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
in western australia we now have "hoon laws" so if your caught to far over the limit speeding or doing burnouts, donuts, drifting, drag racing your car is confiscated for a minmum of 48 hours (kind of hard to hide from your parents when your cars missing) i dont condone racing or speeding, but i think this post was originally more about the cops reaction of not knowing the car, not really any need for people to play parent and give lectures -
u think the exact code is starter switch off, i've got it showing onmy vortex as well

only the r33 skyline had 4ws, though not many people liked it from what i heard a lot of r33 owners have removed it, though i know of a few people that have driven the honda's that love it, it would all dependon the setup
