  1. Don't have any idea, but looking around at the local junkyard all of the older bugs have 4 lug 15" wheels with P165/15 tires. I have them on the 85 hatchback and they don't rub at all. I am just wondering what size tire I can run without a lift. I think a 205/65-15 is the biggest I can go.
  2. Okay,here goes my first post. I now have two Subaru's, a 85 GL hatcback and a new 88 GL hatcback. About a month ago I purchased a set of 15" wheels that supposedly came off of a Volkswagon. They are similar to wagon wheels. The tires are P165/15. They bolt right up and gave me about 2" more ride height. If anyone has ever heard of using these reply back with pros/cons.:-\
