Good luck in Missoula buddy!
I'd avoid Butte, there is plenty of
construction work in and around the
Missoula area.
Lot's of Subaru's to be sure also...

Hello Folks,
Say starkiller, I am wondering if you tried to get
used to those convex mirrors before deciding to
take them off.?
I think they are great! I love'em. This keeps me
from having to turn my head at all when changing
lanes or merging into traffic.
I can also see my tires at the curb and if I have
stuff mounted on the roof racks I can see that
also.
I have heard others that didn't like them much
but I must say that once one gets used to them
they are a valuable asset.
Just my two-cents...

Hello Folks,
Ya, the Scorpion Kits are kind of pricey.
So Shadyirishmen, please keep us posted on
how your kit is going. Very interested.
As you said, a 3-4 inch lift would be fine
and would avoid "extras" like brake lines.
Groovy!

Hello Folks,
Yes, I was aware of the Photo Gallery provided here.
A very nice feature I might add. Handy indeed.
Just thought I'd offer.
Thanks for your time.

Hello Folks,
After chumming thru many a post here and elsewhere
I have noticed a desire from folks to have a spot
on the internet where they can "put up" some pics
of their Subaru so that they can "link" to it
from elsewhere, hence; others can see the pictures.
Well for a fellow Subaru owner, I could more than
likely help you out. PM me...
Thank you for your time.

Hello Folks,
I would like to attempt a lift job on my 98' OBW and after doing
some research I have come across a few "lift kits" mentioned here
and elsewhere. I would like to hear some opinions.
I was looking at the kits available from Renickmotorsports.com
which are the Scorpion Body Lift and the Scorpion Lift Springs.
Does anybody have any experience with Scorpion Lifts?
I would like to do both. A 3" to 4" lift would be great!
I found this picture of a 98'OBW and this is exactly what I
want to do with mine. If anybody knows who owns the OB in
the picture that last link goes to; or knows how or what kit
was used that would be a help.
Thank you for your time...

Right on suba,
I am actually much closer to Corvallis than Missoula;
- I'm in the Bitterroot.
Anyhow; kewl, nice to know there's some MT folk here.
I've only had my first Subaru for two years now and like
the ride. The cock pit is a little small for my frame but
the gas mileage is just right. The "winter package" and
"tow package" is nice too.
I'd like to see where I'm going so interested in doing a
headlight/foglight mod. Read much on this and will be
attempting soon.
Builder by trade and have a pile of tools, can weld and have
welders so it would be nice to get a lift going... I've got
to have a little more info on this though. I'm looking.
Scared to do it only because I need the care every day.
Down time is crucial. I've got an old 80' Suburban but if I
was to commute in that for two weeks I could have bought
another Subaru.
I found an old decent Brat up the road for sale; that might
be fun to experiment with. I'm inquiring...
Ok, well thanks for the response. Ya, let's get a barley pop
sometime.

Hello folks,
Well I have been perusing this site for the last two hours
and reading a lot. First time here. Nice. I like it. Lots of
info.
If there's any folks in or around Missoula looking to get
more out of their ride we should hook up.
Thanks!

I am going to find out more about this fuse deal tommorow.
