  1. It stopped burning whatever it was burning. No coolant lost, so, must've just had crap in it

She drives good. Now I need a battery.

i have an old one you can have for free its been sitting for a little bit, but it was good when i pulled it out of the death wedge

  2. It's not his first time out in a lifted roo. Ask him about the ice/water crossing in my wagon. It's good fun intiating the un-offroaded.

Where abouts is the Dragon run? I'm not sure if i'll be in Scotland or wyoming then, but if i'm not, would an EJ25'd lifted wagon be welcome or a liability? I saw the pics of the XT that flipped, and i'm considerably more top heavy.

no liability, just pull off when faster cars come up behind you

  3. at least you found it, thats nothing that isn't fixable, car collectors will take a car that was in a garage fire and put it back together so well you would think it was new. when you look aty the before and after photos on some of those, that small amount of rust looks like nothing,

you will be amaised what a good welder can do to a spot like that.

give him a day it will look much better tommorow

  4. Today I decided to convert from my Subaru Powered VW Vanagon to an 88 Toyota Minivan.

Its got a 2.2L engine that unfortunately is under the front seats but its a pushrod engine, the trans is a 5spd instead of a 4 and it really cruises along nicely, the A/C works awesome and it looks better than the Vanagon (IMO OF COURSE).

Vanagon ad to follow in a few days.

thank god i thought we were gonna lose you to them, vw is evil

  5. Instead of making up excuses like the rest, I'm just gonna say it now, I'm not going because I think ShawnW smells. There. Said it.

Actually, I'm with the rest of the folks. Out of money and time.

I'm hoping to go next year, especially since my cousin and friend moved to Beaverton, OR. I could go see Subarus and a good friend. What more could I ask for?

    free potato chips?
