Drives totally different then the old wagon. Actually still have the 82 but will be selling it soon to a buddy that needs a good motor. The rest of the car is rusted out to bad to be considered road worthy. I do have some parts that I pulled from the car.
-
Fianlly did it i upgraded my rusted out 82 wagon. So far i am please with my new purchase. Let me know what you all think.
-
The wheels do nothing for the car performance wise. They were most likely just purchased to use in the winter time instead of using the outback wheels. If you have no need for them try selling them.

91 Legacy LS wagon 156k

Is it possible that it is low on freon? I know the compressor wont kick on if it low.
-
That my friend looks like a 4 door Gremlin:grin:
Reminds me of a ea82 Justy

Nice sedan good job on getting that rust gone.
Bucky hasnt changed at all except for looks like it dont like to take a bath anymore.

The gl haedlights are not plastic they are glass.
Na i like my dl setup that way i dont half to mess with the plastic on the gl setups. -
If the cars pops back on ebay and anyone is interested i can probably go check it out. its only about 15 mins from me

User has not been on since may of 2004. Dont think any suggestions are gonna help

Nice wagon. Wish mine was rust free like that.
-
I have used them to tow a few cars around seem pretty solid to me.

Do you have a sunroof? The drain for the EA82 sunroofs runs down into that area. If the tubes are disconnected or leaking it could cause this. Just a guess
i wouldnt poke a hole to let the water out. just use a wet dry vac to egt the water out. that way u dont have to patch a hole that u poked in the car.

Hey Group... I've decided to go with Old Gen spoke rims with 2 - 12mm washers for caliper clearence on my 86 gl wagon ... I've found some Cooper 205/60/13 tires LOCALLY!!! ... will they fit? or will I have strut clearence problems? ... TIA... eLF
They will fit fine. i ran them on my 86 gl wagon 82 gl wagon and my 89 rx never had a problem

Jeez, thanks - that's encouraging:eek: :-\ I had another thought - is it possible that the pump could freeze (due to no antifreeze mix in the bottle) and therefore not operate at all?? (no noise?)
Its very possible. Happened to my 91 legacy.

Not a Subaru but I think its tastefull

your in pa? well i wouldnt mind a drive. how much you want for it? got any other parts for an 86? and does anyone know a source for repair pannels . If i am gunna kep my car and put a trany in it i might as well repair the reuted wheel arches.
I would like to get around 250 for the tranny. I have some parts for a 86 but i have a wagon. if there is any certain item you are looking for just ask and ill look if i have.
-
I have a turbo trans from a 86. Not sre if you would be interested in it since there is so much distance between us.

205/60/13 will work on any stock subaru wheel
-
I never used sealants either. If you look at the chart it says impreza only not sure what makes them different though.

The fender flares out quite a bit, hence my vote for the Skyline.
Its a civic

the GL-10 seats are from an 86' wagon and the my GL wagon is an 85' do you think i'll have any problems???
No probelms at all

Resprayed outback with WRX swap....
Probably poorly done by the looks of the unilug rims. Who would go to all that trouble then put unilugs on a car? Stupid looking.
GD
Its hard to find rims that arent unilug anymore.
If they wanted to do all that work to a car they should have got a lgt instead of a outback. Just dont look right anymore

hey is it possible to swap GL-10 seats including rear seats into my GL? i'm mainly concerned about the rear seats because i know that the front seats will fit no problem!!! if its possible is there any mods that i need to do in the back for the seats to fit? the reason i'm asking is because i want headrests in the back seat of my GL which doesnt have any rite now and i have access to a GL-10 parts car. would really appreciate any help
Buddy
