  1. Tribeca front end looks like a 1958 Saab or an inverted Edsel, Since Subie is now a GM car, maybe the pontiac design group helped. Maybe they were trying to make something more ugly than the Aztec. Mission accomplished. Surely an aftermarket company will make a decient looking header panel for that mother-in-law ugly thing. Jack
  2. I just saw a commercial on the new 9 wagon. Ugo, the front end looks like a 1958 Saab, the one with the little 3 cylinder 2 cycle engine. You can tell GM had a hand in design styling. Pontiac makes the worse looking cars in the GM line, maybe they helped in design. It could be an inverted Edsel. It was my hope that this new unit would be a looker. The design engineers had a clean sheet of paper. The interior looks super. Texaspetron
  3. Thank You for your reply. I took the car to a Vietnam Subie tech after the told me the flasher was "obar da hooot cooble". He reached over the hood cable, replaced the flasher, replaced the new signal light socket and now it is as good as new. Jack
  4. Dave There is an after market place in Arlington, Texas called Certifit. I recently purchased an after market hood for my 97 Legacy and it fit perfect, for $121. I also purchased a headlight for $100 and it fit perfect, looked like OEM. The manager there is Jason and the phone number is 817 468 1400. They provide a lifetime warranty on all parts, except if you wreck it again. Thank You Jack Jefferson Aledo,Texas
  5. Thank y'all for allowing me intp your group. I own a 1997 Legacy GT 5 speed. My problem is ever since I purchased the car the signal lights have not worked. I replaced the blown fuse for the signal lights and the right side worked. When I switched to the left side nothing worked and I had a burn smell under the dash. I have checked all the wiring to the front and back of the left side and did not find any bare wiring. I pulled the plastic panel under the steering panel looking for the flasher and did not find it. The new fuse did not blow which, indicated to me that I have an open circuit somewhere. I purchased a new flasher, but cannot find a home for it. The car runs super and everything works except the signal lights. I hate to dump it for such a minor problem. HELP!!!! Thank y'all Jack Jefferson
