  1. Hey Moose,

    Thanks

  2. what aa doesn't make lifts anymore? lets see some pics! any problems with the lift?
  3. sean here, yes that is a non power Steering Knuckle Extension. so when are you goint to get one of those browning 50 cal. from AA and mount it on top of your ride so you can really get some hunting done?. oh and my 3 good pugs could be up for sell soon, just have to see how my t-leg is going to do
  4. i just got myself a 92 tleg to add to my collection, and well she has a few problems so what. the car likes to idle high like 2-3k and sometimes will kick down but she takes her time to do so, but if you turn her off then back on she idles just find till you give it gas again then right back to 2-3k. i tried to test the tps, according to my haynes manual it says to test the 1 and 2 pins but i get nothing at all, i tested 3 and 4 to c what hapens and i get a low reading with the throttle closed and as you open it the resistance increase. is there anything else that i could be over looking that would cause such a problem? a good vacume leak is the only other thing i can really think of or egr but i don't have a vacume pump to test it. what vacume lines would effect the idle like so? all or just a few?
  5. i was told it was a bushing that i could replace.
  6. so i think its time to rebuild my disty. my tach is jumping any were from 500 to 2k or more and there is major play in the rotor like 8th of an inch or so and the new cap has some deep scrach marks on the pickups for the rotor hiting them. is there any thing else that would cause my tach to jump like that? is my disty going to crap out on me at any time? how diffcult is it to rebuild a disty? i have a spare but its needs to be rebuilt to.
  7. damn that was to easy. i started beating on it and it came out. so happy, i thought that i was screwed. thanks everyone for your help!
  8. mcbrat, that what i'm going to do. i already broke a piece, and now a whole lot more has to come off, only if i had a big hammer and a sharper chisel. i think the peice inside the bore does spine the tinnest amount. now i get to stay up late and get up at 5am. is the metal the oil pump is made of softer then the block?
  9. yeah the round section is broke off from the rest of the pump. give me a sec and i will get some real pics up, i forgot about the roommate's cam:lol:. i guess you could say it was almost as if someone glued it to the block. pic 1(left) is whats stuck in the block. 2(right) i whats came off the motor.
  10. were it is in red and then some of the flat area. i would be easer to explain it to someone that knows ea-81. i have now drill or tap, that would work if i had them. oilpump.bmp
  11. so i got the crank pulley off. but ran in to a bigger problem. if i had a picture it would help me explain it all. i have part of my oil pump broke off in my block and not sure how to go about removing it. 1. i don't want to mess up the mateing serface on the block. 2. i don't have a whole lot of tools to work with right now. a hammer and chisel is about it. so any ea-81 masters around tonight?
  12. i like my mwe's just fine, i've put about 10k on them and haven't hear any clicking yet and they are powercoated blue to!
  13. i know who knows, you need to talk to brat avenger. i believe he did it on his brat. i was talking to him cause i wanted to do it on my hatch.
