running lights 99 legacy

Hello, my rear lights do not work unless my fog lights are on. I have to flip the switch on the column to get them to work. Also, the lights on the instrument panel do not work. The fuses have all been checked. Is there a relay that im missing?

I think you have nailed the answer. It does sound like the taillight relay is the problem. I think it is in the dash fuse panel.

Welcome to the forum.

Assuming that what gets the tail lights working is the parking light switch on the top of the steering column, then I agree that the tail/illumination relay is a prime suspect. As Cougar said, that relay is located on the under-dash fuse panel (at the top, unfortunately, because it's a bit tight in there). It's the middle of the three relays.
