Breeke
Well after my hunting season expidition, my ea82 (stock motor, no winch, stock bumper too) has noticably lost some height. :-\ The rear seems to be saggin an inch or better over the front. have done some searching and only found info on the front, not this actual problem measurments are as follows: (from level ground to bottom of wheel well, via center of wheel) Left Front: 26 3/4 inches Right Front: 27 1/4 inches Both Rear: 26 inches This is with about 30% tread 185/80/R13 tires. I'm thinking new springs all the way around? Or struts? (the car doesn't continue to bouce with bumps though) Thoughts??
The Beast I Drive
What year is it? The 85-86 wagons have adjustable front and rear spring perches, allowing you to gain about an inch over stock, or in your case, get it back to normal... -Bill

torxxx
new struts all the way around. 1986-89 Honda Accord FRONT springs and you will be installing them on the rear of your subaru. You will want to buy them new from Napa. I got a set of them for 45 bucks this spring. Order them for an accord with a 5 speed and No A/C. This will be a lighter spring combo than if you were to get them for an automatic with AC (about 350 pound difference in the vehicle weight) Spring upgrade for the front is being said to be Ford Tempo springs. I havent really heard too much about it, but its been mentioned on here a few times. Hopefully some of the other guys will chime about it because I'm wanting to put those springs on my car also. The Scooby
if you do a search i build custom rear shocks for the EA82's with a heavier spring for the back. LMK if you are interested.
