The number on the ploat bowl reads DCJ 306-8 and 701 below that. I got one hit from the search feature on the number, it's supposed to be from a 79 Brat. Can anyone Re-confirm this and point me to source for rebuild kits. I found one on ebay listed for an "1980 Subaru", I'm a little wary on squeezing the trigger on the ebay item until I get some feed back on from the Masters of Subaru. GeneralDisorder Posted November 17, 2009 Share Posted November 17, 2009 Definitely sounds like a gen 1 carb. You might try asking in the Historic Forum for where people get kits for them.
