December 4, 200916 yr So i was thinking of redoing the exhaust on my 86 XT (DL FTW!!) and was wondering what some of you guys experience with n/a exhaust is and what gave the best results. and of course some of that good ol' suby rumble. i was almost thinking header, y pipe, no cat, glasspack of some sort and turndown before the rear end. and stock exhaust dia. to keep some sorta back pressure. sooooo ideas? yes please. thank you.
December 4, 200916 yr Stock exhaust pipe is 1.75" if I remember correctly. I suggest you go up to 2" and no muffler

I suggest you go up to 2" and no muffler oh my no... lol this is my daily driver and would prefer to go without a sound ordnance ticket. (already have one of those from my old honda, "but officer the muffler REALLY did fall off!!!")
