What kind of oil would you put in a '79 Brat??

I use 15w40 Chevron in all my cars, because I get it for free at work. Just use a good quality motor oil, and I would say 10w30 or so should be perfect for a Brat.

if you Drive on Warm Climates, I Kindly Suggest you to use 20W~50 of Good Quality Oil, for more Cool Climates switch to 15W~40.

same here 15-40 u-haul brand oil when worked there.

 

i ran the 15-40 in an 87 gl 189,000 mi, over the road to the south in june. right now i am running 10w30 oil in my 88 dl, 145,000 mi
