My car takes a while to start even in the warmth, the starter turns over and the alternator and battery are brand new what is wrong?

How are your Plugs and Coil? If either are week your not getting good spark, which will make it not want to fire up right away, Or it could be a clogged/clogging fuel filter, which it right up by the wiper motor.

 

Check those are and see if that helps

 

Could also be a sticking float in the carb.

If it's none of that,then look at the choke system. If it's a carb engine,of course.
