Is there an internal filter that needs changed in the 01 Outbacks?. I changed the spin on filter today with a Napa Gold oil filter, what a pita, probably has never been changed before. Anyhow I didn't see any other filters at http://www.1stsubaruparts.com. I'm going to be doing 3 changes to get most of the old fluid out, also planning on adding synthetic ATF on the last fill.

they probably have an internal "filter" like the old 4EAT's have but it's not hardly a filter and not worth changing. nothing to gain by changing it.
