So Im goin from forum to forum looking for some help regarding my recent issue with my 2006 Subaru Impreza 2.5i ( 40 K on it) . Well, it started with getting a check engine light saying Cylinder 3 misfire when the code came out I was starting the car and at low RPMs the car was "choking". I replaced spark plugs and cables and the the code came out again. Then a week ago I took my car for an emission test ( I live in Chicago) and the car failed, saying that Catalytic Converter EFF. is NOT READY and EGR Flow is NOT READY. Do you guys have any idea what it is ? Any help is greatly appreciated ! THANKS

Shouldn't it still be under emissions warranty? 5 years and either 60,000 or 100,000 miles. If so take it to the dealer.
