98 Impreza OBS connection for OBD2?

Featured Replies

I broke down and bought an Actron code reader. I found the connector easily on my Civic but I do not see it on the OBS and it is TOO cold to keep fiddling around out there. Please be somewhat specific, no "under the left side of dash" answers please. thanks

This is the best description I can give. While sitting in the car it will be just about vertical to your left knee right in the kick panel.

Thanks, do I remove the panel or just feel/look up there?

the photo did not load before, now I see that it is not the same as my car, I don't think! Will go take a good look after the game is over, Uconn vs. Pitt (women)

You don't have to remove anything, the picture is a wrx but you can get the gist.

I have never had that angle to look at but a hooker friend that has had that view told me that my car is pretty much the same from that angle. I went back out, found the connector and now I am golden. thanks
