February 12, 201016 yr i was wondering if a wrx or legacy or impreza radiator would fit in a 87 gl10 turbo wagon. i was told that i need a radiator asap cause of overheating issues. any help is needed
February 12, 201016 yr I was able to fit a legacy radiator into my EA-81 wagon, wassn't to hard, had to make custom brackets but all in all with a welder on hand took like 15min. to get it done.
February 12, 201016 yr radiator hose diameters, size, location of outlet will be factors. why not just get a new one at radiatorbarn.com will save lots of hassle in the long run.
February 12, 201016 yr Forgot to add. The legacy radiator had a "bubble" fill system on it, but that to was easily fixed with an adaptor found at most auto parts store's. As far as the hoses i stretched the bottom hose to fit the radiator and used a larger hose on top and just clamped it really tight, been in there the better part of 3 years and works great. I love the advantage of the bigger radiator on a really hot day while spooling the turbo ALOT, never gets hot.
February 12, 201016 yr Author thanks, and i wanted to run a bigger radiator cause i wanted to build up the stock engine in time and i didnt want to just put an original small one
