I'm doing a EA/EJ mish-mash, I can't for the life of me remember if the pressure plate bolts (m8x1.25x25mm or so) had lock washers. I remember using loctite, I think, but I just don't do enough of these to store that info in my head.

They should have lock washers on them...Atleast the EJ's do

They are typically the "trapped washer" style bolt where the washer's can't come off (they spin above the threads).

 

But yeah - lockwasher would be prefered over just a flat washer and I don't think I would use a bolt by itself.
