No Shaker Hood?

Featured Replies

Kind of surprised, after searching, that although it has been discussed, no one has posted a succesful Shaker (style) Hood. I'd think it could be functional for an intercooler, or dropping underhood temperatures.

Plus it looks cool. :)

how about this?main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=2057&g2_serialNumber=1&g2_GALLERYSID=1bccecfb05918bbc441fae616953ba9e

the cone filter would be the shaker part. the scoop is welded to the hood

About as cold air induction as it can get, I was thinking more of the 1970 Plymouth Barracuda Shaker... with the cold air box and scoop fixed with a gasket and the hood opened aorund it.

im partial to this kind of shaker.

What has been done to an EA81 hood is a fox body mustang hood scoop. Jerry i believe did it to his hatch along with cragers and a hurst shifter. Idk where the picture of it is but the scoop looks like this.
