Fixing up a 96 Leg Outback wrecked in rear end. Bumper cover was ripped off and steel bumper that was under cover was crushed in the center. Can not seem to see any bolts under car to remove this. Is the steel bumper thats under the cover welded on or is it part of the body frame it self ????

In the cargo area, pull up the two side panels of the floor. Under them you will see two plastic plugs. Remove the plugs and remove the two 17 or 19mm bolts. The bumper will then pull out.

Can not thank you enough !!! I looked and felt around under that car for an half hour like a nut.. I would have never dreamed of looking on top for bolts hidden bolts. I thank you !!!
