Took a ride in my Brothers NEW 2010 OB?!

Featured Replies

Hi ALL!

Well my brother just replaced his older OB, it started to make noice in the Auto tranny. Traded it for a new 2010 OB, auto. I took a ride with him, I didn't drive it. It's really nice..has that CVT tranny. BUT what's with NO TEMP gauge? They have that stupid Vacuum gauge that tells you if your "foots" in it! AND....is that an Electric Parking Brake? They don't even call it an an Emergency Brake anymore!

electronic parking brake is BAD juju, just look at how electronic drive by wire is going....

i would probably swap that ebrake out with an earlier model so you have cable control, you know, in case there are virals in the ECU.

dont mean to pee in your cereal.

Replacing the temperature gauge with an idiot light doesn't thrill me. The invention of an electric parking brake seems like a bad idea. Just another electrical unit to cause problems in the years ahead. No, give me a cable operated unit, if you would please.
